Why recycle cell phones? Cell phone and smart phone recycling is important. Cell phones and smart phones contain materials which are harmless during their usable life, but become a potentially toxic carcinogenic hazard to our environment when disposed of improperly. In addition, precious metals, flame retardant plastics, glass, and other materials are unclaimed for reuse when cell phones are thrown away.
Surely we can do better.
CURE Recycling recovers used cell phones, smart phones, laptop computers, digital cameras, ipads, ipods, and printer cartridges from schools, businesses, non-profit organizations, and government agencies. These items are inspected and recycled for reuse. This results in less environmental pollution, and a betterr use of our natural resources.
Our recycling efforts benefits the fine efforts of CURE Childhood Cancer. To learn more about CURE Childhood Cancer, click on the CURE video link above, the CURE logo below, or check them out through Charity Navigator.
